Berlin hosts the release of RARE EARTH, the brand-new album from White Dune, with support with Kema and Nona Invie. White Dune is the eclectic electronic music project of Minneapolis-based drummer Dave Power, who is known for his percussive roles in groups such as Solid Gold, bathtub cig, Nelson Devereaux Trio, and 58 Belvedere.

RARE EARTH is a sonically rich tapestry of cinematic EDM tracks that showcase Power’s narrative abilities as a composer. The album’s influences include Boards of Canada, Andy Stott, The Field, and Aphex Twin, and it plays front to back like a brain-tingling amalgamation of the best sacred volumes in post-’90s modern electronic music production. Co-producer Dex Wolfe lends crafty mixing and engineering wizardry across the project, and listeners should expect to be taken for a ride outside of all time and form with this one. Bumpy Records is additionally thrilled to be able to offer this album on a limited edition of vinyl LPs pressed in Minneapolis by Outta Wax.

Dave Power becomes the last missing puzzle piece in every ensemble he joins. Whether it's in one of his experimental/jazz ensembles, post-punk bands, or indie pop groups, he is forever at the service of the song, communicating with cohesion. In this chaotic world, Power finds the ability to place each note with care and nuance, giving the drum set a melodic voice. The true epitome of a working musician, Power has been a touring/studio drummer for over a decade and has toured nationally and internationally with bands such as The Staves, Aero Flynn, and Adelyn Rose. He currently plays in multiple local bands—including Solid Gold, bathtub cig, Jacob Mullis, Nelson Devereaux Trio, PRINTS, and 58 Belvedere—and he heads an electronic solo project called White Dune.

Nona Invie is a singer/composer based in Minneapolis that has worked with a range of musical projects, including Folk Americana band Dark Dark Dark, electronic trio RONiiA and the choral ensemble Anonymous Choir. Their solo work layers acoustic piano with synth instruments, creating an ethereal landscape to get lost in.

Kema is a DJ and producer who fuses his Latin heritage and global dance music. He has curated events focused on Latin and global club sounds, inviting artists from Ecuador, France, and beyond to Minnesota. Inspired by these gatherings, his work blends classic rhythms with experimental edges, delivering something fresh but recognizable on any dance floor. Kema’s production has earned international attention, with DJ features on platforms such as The Lot Radio and NTS and on respected labels based in Germany and Chicago.
