Jenna Schmidt

Born and raised in Minnesota, Jenna fell in love with the distinct style of hospitality that makes this state feel like home. Her background across roles in the industry informs her personal style of service and the way she adapts to guests from all walks of life. She loves the way music can shift the course of an evening or even a whole perspective, and she is excited to provide a comfortable space for the exploration of music in this community.

Cecilia Johnson

Cecilia is an award-winning arts journalist with a heart for hospitality. She pivoted into a talent buying career in summer 2024 when she began programming Berlin’s stage. Her musical interests range from American jazz to German downtempo to South African amapiano.

Mary Brabec

Mary has been programming and producing shows by incredible artists for almost 30 years. From promoting concerts and festivals in Montana and Seattle and immersing herself in community radio to establishing her own booking agency in Portland, Mary's work in the music industry has been a means to pursue communion with like-minded deep listeners and ambitious producers. Since moving to Minneapolis in 2017, she has programmed several notable stages devoted to jazz and folk music from across the metro and around the world.

Spencer Perrone

Spencer is an inquisitive chef with a grounding presence. A lifelong Midwesterner, he has gained over a decade of cooking experience at Twin Cities pasta spots and barbecue joints and has now made a home for himself at Berlin. His culinary style is simple, seasonal, and comforting.

Cole Weiland

For over 15 years, Collin "Cole" Weiland has been on a mission to create and contribute to the beautiful, expansive bar and music culture within the Twin Cities. His tireless ambition is to make service hospitable and timeless, whether it be behind a bar, on a stage, in a studio, or beside a stage in the milieu of great minds these Twin Cities and beyond have to offer.

Rich Henriksen

Rich Henriksen had long dreamed about owning a music bar before Berlin became a reality. His upbringing in a large, hospitable, and musical family laid the foundation for his lifelong loves of music and bringing people together. Rich is also the CEO of Nokomis Health—a position he calls his “day job”—and the music director at a local church. He is grateful to offer Berlin as a place for the community to gather and experience hospitality, connection, and music.
