Nocturne is a Minneapolis concert series focused on modern classical, ambient, and electroacoustics. For this Halloween edition, expect a darker, moodier tone reminiscent of Lynchian atmospheres and spiritualism.
This installment of Nocturne will feature musicians Liz Draper, drey dk, and Lo Mismo.

Liz Draper has played with everyone from indie pioneers Low to the legendary songwriter Iris DeMent. Draper released her anticipated debut solo album Meno at the end of 2025 on Liatris Records. Dark, murky, heartbreaking and deep, Meno fits squarely in the genre of “classicaldoomfolkjazz.” Draper’s solo work has been very well received, including making Uncut Magazine's Highest Rated Albums list of 2025

Drey Darst Kereakos, otherwise known as drey dk, is an indie songwriter and producer based in Minneapolis, MN. Their songs are spacious and often minimalist, but hold heavy emotional weight. Their works thus far are heavily dominated by synthesizers, and are layered with guitar, vocal harmonization and manipulation.

Lo Mismo is an ever-expanding atmospheric music project created by pianist and experimenter Frank Hartman. Originally basing compositions on dusty samples and piano recordings, his sonic palette has changed and refined to approach ambient from an increasingly acoustic angle. Joined by cellist Madi Wieczorek and violist Jake Gesell, the trio will debut a set of compositions written between 2025 and 2026. Inspired by film scores, the night sky, and a sensation of drifting away, Lo Mismo delivers an experience as hypnotic as it is emotional.
