Shehrzad is a DJ from Minnesota and one half of Extra Pulp, a Mixcloud radio show rooted in music discovery and art. Primarily spinning vinyl, Shehrzad likes to curate genre-spanning sets that guide listeners through sonic landscapes—keeping them moving while introducing them to new sounds. Her selections often lean into ’80s and ’90s synth pop, Italo disco, new wave, and deep house. She also weaves in sounds from childhood, inspired by old Bollywood films and Middle Eastern music heard at mehmoonis.
