dealdrugger is a bacchanal dj, 3 minute+ song producer, and amateur pharmacologist based in Northside Minneapolis. known for co-writes, co-prods and bombing live shows with artists like Poliça, Sid Sriram, Marijuana Deathsquads, and BRAINGIVER. a dealdrugger dj set—hybrid digital & vinyl—will connect the nonexistent dots between the catalogs of Throbbing Gristle and Bill Evans, Rihanna and the Art of Noise.
vlush, performing as DJ Lake Street River Bridge, is a musician first and a DJ last. Honestly even referring to him as a DJ is a bit of a stretch—he uses (and enjoys using) a Behringer mixer. Despite limited technical ability on turntables and an irreverent taste in equipment, vlush identifies as having the best music taste in the MSP metro and regularly spins gasp-inducing selections from an incomprehensible variety of popular records. vlush has self-released two albums (WHO 250, Mad for No Reason); has produced and coproduced music for a variety of artists (Alex Banin, Papa Mbye, Kinfu, Zak Khan); and is a founding member of the alt-electronic/ambient musical organization BRAINGIVER.
