$5 at the Door 10:30pm DJ Set
Vogue Memory dips into the odder margins of dance music (jakbeat, acid house, minimal synthpop, etc.) for a night of weirdness and wonder.
Vogue Memory is a selector/DJ based in Minneapolis. Having cut his teeth as the electronic music show host at Radio K before spending some years in the northeast United States, he believes listeners are willing to explore more eclectic sounds with the right guidance. His quieter sets span experimental, ambient, DIY pop, folk, and anything else that catches his ear. In more dance-like settings, he oscillates between industrial sounds, mutant electro, and percussive tracks that don’t neatly slot into genres. In keeping with that musical range, he’s played in dive bars, dance spaces in Brooklyn, DIY venues, and cafes/wine bars.
