one is made up of Calvin and DJ Voodoo: two DJs, composers, and cousins from Chicago, IL, currently residing in both Chicago and New York. Together they explore classic Detroit techno and Chicago house music and their complicated roots and branches. one aims to preserve the history of Black dance music, cement it in the present, and propel it into the future. During their two-hour back-to-back set at Berlin, one will be interweaving classic house, hip-hop, soul, techno, and original compositions.
