Local jazz/funk band Green Line will perform two sets of original music and favorite arrangements from the likes of Chick Corea, Art Blakey, and Miles Davis.

Green Line is a five-piece jazz/funk band based in Minneapolis. Aidan Firchow, Colin Fitzsimmons, Matt Healy, Nathan Klaers, and Trevor Loewe met at the University of Minnesota in a jazz combo under the direction of Phil Hey. Since then, they have been writing music and playing around the Twin Cities in clubs, museums, backyards, and basements alike. Green Line plays a combination of original music and arrangements that bring a dynamic, funky sound to tunes rooted in and inspired by the jazz tradition.
