Early Evening Jazz: Yeshaya Ehrlich Yeshaya

NO COVER 4:30pm Show

Adi Yeshaya and his son Ethan have a secret: sometimes they play jazz together. While visiting each other’s houses for dinner at each other’s houses, they’ll often play some tunes for fun. Well, it was a secret…until now! With the help of master drummer Ben Ehrlich, the Yeshaya boys are ready to take their tunes from their living rooms to Berlin’s stage. This is Yeshaya. Ehrlich. Yeshaya.

Adi Yeshaya is a jazz pianist, arranger, and composer whose work has been featured with the likes of Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Lena Horne, Burt Bacharach, Prince, and many others. His group, Adi Yeshaya Jazz Orchestra Ft. Jennifer Grimm, can be seen often at Crooners and will perform again at Birdland in NYC this August.

Ethan Yeshaya is a bassist typically known for supporting R&B and gospel artists, but there has been some jazz brewing in him! Ethan plays with LA Buckner & BiG HOMiE (their first album was #1 on Apple Music Jazz charts; about to record their third album), Thomas Abban, and many other artists. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Bridget, and their dogs Penny and Buddha.

Ben Ehrlich has taken the Twin Cities jazz scene by storm with his high-octane drumming! Having earned a Bachelor of Music degree in jazz drum set from the University of North Texas, Ben has spent time in the Dallas and Twin Cities music scenes. You can hear him with d’Lakes, Leslie Vincent, and many others!
