⊹
Sarah Navratil is a Minnesota-born saxophonist, artist, and composer now based in New York City. Growing up in close proximity to Midwestern landscapes and wildlife, Sarah takes compositional and artistic inspiration from the nostalgic sounds and sights of the natural world and the northern landscapes that shaped her upbringing.
These themes translate to her visual art as well, as both areas pay homage to the natural world and are intended to foster a closer relationship and greater appreciation between humans and the natural world.
Sarah holds a bachelor's degree in Jazz and Contemporary Media from the Eastman School of Music and regularly leads bands in New York City and the Twin Cities.
