Minneapolis-based deejay WWW will lean into the downtempo side of his digital collection for a 2-hour trip-hop/lounge set exploring threads between jazz, electronica, and post-Dilla music.
WWW, aka Will W. Winston, is a Minneapolis-based DJ, dancer, and music lover originally hailing from Portland, OR and San Jose, CA. Splitting time between families in two cities exposed Will to a variety of musical styles and perspectives growing up, and helped underscore the power of music as a means of connection with self and others early on. After trying his hand at different musical instruments throughout childhood, Will eventually discovered DJing as a path of creative self-expression, and has been lost in music ever since. Better known for his house-forward sets around the Twin Cities, on March 27th he’ll tap into his college radio roots for a special trip-hop/lounge set at Berlin in Minneapolis. Expect a journey through shades of jazz, electronica, and post-Dilla beats.
