Sylvia Jennings began curating music as a DJ at Radio K, where she hosted Off the Record and Clashed Attitudes, specializing in local and punk music. This led to roles in music promotion for TheCurrent and the electronic-goth event series Dark Energy. A musician herself, Jennings also performs in the post-punk band Services and the new-wave synth-rock project Jeweler.
After years of immersing herself in underground techno and DIY club culture, Jennings stepped behind the decks. Her DJ sets stitch together darkwave, French house, contemporary pop, acid house, industrial rock, and more—ethereal, groovy, and always moody.
