DJ Maracuya is a queer Peruvian American DJ living on Dakota land in Minneapolis. DJ Maracuya pulls inspiration from their background as an Andean musician and a ‘90s baby influenced by many cultures and music styles. Their favorite childhood memories include dancing in the living room with her siblings to merenhouse, hip-hop, chicha, rock, cumbia, and reggae. She hopes to invoke nostalgia and joyful abandon through her sets.
