Early Evening Jazz: Robert Lehmann & Toby Ramaswamy

NO COVER 4:30pm Show

Robert Lehmann brings together disparate influences while reflecting his experience as a mixed Filipino American in the Midwest. He blends improvised and semi-composed material on pianos, synths, and drum pad, combining neoclassical, jazz, minimalism, ambient, and drone into soundtracky vibes. He invites listeners into an introspective space—to ground themselves and reflect on their own memories—while also encouraging them to connect to a bigger collective experience.

Toby Ramaswamy is a composer, drummer, and producer based in Minneapolis. He has been fortunate enough to work with and learn from a diverse group of Minneapolis musicians and artists in a wide range of genres. As a drummer, he plays regularly with artists including Tabah, rice, Barlow, Jo Kellen, Tram, Eric Mayson, Wheel Eternal, and CB.
