Kisilea is a Puerto Rican DJ who recently relocated to the Twin Cities after attending college in Northfield, MN. Her love of music started with her Nuyorican mom, who was always playing freestyle, salsa, bachata, and merengue around the house. Growing up, she quickly realized how music connects culture, history, and dance. She hopes to create that same feeling of connection and community through her sets while playing a mix of genres.
Since getting into the Twin Cities scene, she has already played notable events, including Sappho’s Social Club’s Pride Party and one-year anniversary celebration. She is excited to continue building her presence in the local music scene and strives for her sets to hit the sweet spot between familiarity and surprise.
