Caroline Davis will lead a 60-minute workshop, sharing insights into her playing, composing process, and the philosophies that inform her incredible music. Whether you're a student, a professional musician, or just a saxophone enthusiast, this clinic is designed to inspire and elevate your playing.
Caroline Davis is an acclaimed saxophonist, composer, and musicologist whose work spans a wide range of styles, driven by a desire to connect with listeners and expand their minds. She has released eight albums and collaborated with notable artists including Lee Konitz, John Zorn, and Nicole Mitchell. Caroline is a recipient of fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, Jerome Hill, and Chamber Music America, and a winner of the DownBeat Critics Poll Alto Saxophone Rising Star Award. She teaches at The New School and Manhattan School of Music.
