PRINTS is a loop-based, improvised, experimental electronic trio with a hint of doomjazz and a dash of jungle, featuring Eric Carranza on guitar, loops, and drum machine; Dave Power on live drums and sometimes also drum machine; and Andrew Thoreen on bass, loops, and sometimes trombone.
Dave Power becomes the last missing puzzle piece in every ensemble he joins. Whether it's in one of his experimental/jazz ensembles, post-punk bands, or indie pop groups, he is forever at the service of the song, communicating with cohesion. In this chaotic world, Power finds the ability to place each note with care and nuance, giving the drum set a melodic voice. The true epitome of a working musician, Power has been a touring/studio drummer for over a decade and has toured nationally and internationally with bands such as The Staves, Aero Flynn, and Adelyn Rose. He currently plays in projects including Solid Gold, Cult Vibes, Bathtub Cig, PRINTS, 58 Belvedere, and Nelson Devereaux Trio.
