Sundays With Nona (feat. Molly Raben & Nat Harvie)

$16 (General Admission)
7:00pm Show

This installment of Sundays With Nona will celebrate keys in all forms. First, Molly Raben will perform a psychedelic set of original organ compositions. Then, Nat Harvie will perform their songs accompanied by Raben on the organ and Nona Invie on synth and piano. A piano-centered cassette DJ set by Invie will follow.

Nat Harvie (they/them) is a Minneapolis-based musician, producer, and audio engineer whose work bridges the intimate and the expansive, folding experimental textures into vivid, emotionally incisive songwriting. Originally emerging from Duluth’s DIY scene, Harvie has since developed a singular voice in the Midwest’s underground music community, producing and collaborating with artists including Alan Sparhawk, Cole Pulice, Andrew Broder, and Nona Invie.

Harvie’s latest album, New Virginity, marks a bold evolution in their sound, melding ambient sensibilities with raw lyrical clarity and haunting vocal performances. Released in 2024 via Boiled Records, the record threads personal transformation with sonic exploration, pulling from their deep background in the experimental and pop traditions. Now living and working in North Minneapolis, Harvie continues to shape the Twin Cities’ musical landscape as both an artist and producer.

Molly Raben is an organist based in Minneapolis. She weaves patterns of nature, light, and the unseen into sonic meditations and improvisations on the organ. Her solo record of organ improvisations, In the Kingdom of Flowers, will be available this July via Pennsylvania-based label Love’s Devotee. She also writes and performs devotional songs as Mary Grace.

Nona Invie is a singer/composer based in Minneapolis who has worked with a range of musical projects, including folk/Americana band Dark Dark Dark, electronic trio RONiiA, and the choral ensemble Anonymous Choir. Their solo work layers acoustic piano with synth instruments, creating an ethereal landscape to get lost in.

This show is presented by Minnesota Public Radio's The Current.
