Hannah Marks is a bassist, composer, and educator living in New York City. She currently leads a risk-taking acoustic jazz quartet that features NYC’s most in-demand sidemen, and she has showcased her musical projects at festivals like the Detroit Jazz Festival, Hyde Park Jazz Festival, 80-35 Music Festival, Mary Lou Williams Jazz Festival, Iowa City Jazz Festival, and Indy Jazz Festival. Produced by Jason Moran, her second album—Feed the Fire—will be released in 2026 on Endectomorph.
Marks’ debut album, Outsider, Outlier, is an explosive rendering of her search for belonging and empowerment. A nod to her love for punk, noise, and free improvisation, Outsider, Outlier was released on Out Of Your Head Records in 2023. Citizen Jazz called Outsider, Outlier “…a very mature record from a young artist with very strong ideas who does not hold back.”
As a sidewoman, Marks has been described as having “a fresh, modern, and original approach to playing the bass” by Marcus Printup. Marks tours internationally with NEA Jazz Master Dee Dee Bridgewater's project “We Exist!,” and she has performed with Geoffrey Keezer, Nasheet Waits, Terri Lyne Carrington, Anna Webber, Miles Okazaki, Ingrid Jensen, Kalia Vandever, Matt Wilson, Ted Nash, Morgan Guerin, Marcus Printup, and Sasha Berliner. Marks’ discography includes playing on Geoffrey Keezer’s Grammy award–winning composition “Refuge,” Amanda Ekery's Grammy nominated Arabé, Kristen Lee Sergeant’s Falling with saxophonist Ted Nash, and Heartland Trio’s debut album Year One.

Nathan Reising is an award-winning saxophonist, pianist, composer, and songwriter from Baltimore, MD. Since moving to New York City in 2018, he has quickly established himself as a sought-after and pivotal voice in the city’s vibrant jazz and improvised music scene. Reising’s work on alto saxophone has earned him mentions in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, and he is best known for his association with MacArthur Genius and Pulitzer Prize finalist Tyshawn Sorey as a member of the Tyshawn Sorey Sextet. Reising’s 2023 EP The Hours explores love, grief, and introspection through a collection of cathartic original songs.
Jonathan Paik is a Los Angeles–born, New York–based pianist, keyboardist, and composer. Paik is the founder and leader of the firespitting quartet FUGITIVE; one half of the electronic duo BUSBOY; and a regular member of Alfredo Colon’s quintet, Victor Solano's SUNDATE, and Jahnvi Madan’s quartet. He has also played with the likes of David Binney, Joe Morris, Charles Altura, and Charles Downs. He plays to honor his lineages—both his Korean heritage and the great tradition of Black American piano masters—and to unconditionally uplift the music and people around him.
Steven Crammer is an in-demand drummer based in Brooklyn, NY. His debut album with the co-led quartet Nortonk was released on Biophilia Records in 2021 to praise from publications including Pop Matters, Jazz Trail, Jazzwise, and All About Jazz.
