Zachary Finnegan is a Chicago-based trumpeter, composer, and bandleader rapidly making his mark in the jazz world. Since joining Michael Bublé’s band in 2022, Finnegan has performed in iconic arenas and stadiums across the globe, including Madison Square Garden, the Staples Center, London’s O2 Arena, the Metropolitan Opera House, São Paulo’s Allianz Parque, and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena. Hailed for his “golden tone and excellent technical command” (All About Jazz), he has contributed to 14 albums, including his critically acclaimed debut solo release, Guidance & Gratitude (2024).

One of the Twin Cities’ most versatile musicians, drummer Kevin Washington makes jazz for the future. He often incorporates other genres, from Afro-Latin music to hip-hop and R&B beats. The son of saxophonist Donald Washington and singer Faye Washington, Washington grew up in Detroit immersed in learning music and listening to the jazz greats who came before him. Since moving to the Twin Cities in his teens, he continues to capture the spirit of African and African American music while making it his own. Washington is a drumming instructor at Walker West Music Academy and works with the student jazz ensembles.

Brian Ziemniak is a member of the legendary funk group Dr. Mambo’s Combo and BZ3 Organ Trio.
